  108.  2254  James T Kirk graduates. Only cadet to beat the NO-WIN SCENARIO of
  109.         the Kobayashi Maru simulation. Joins the USS Farragut under the
  110.         command of Captain Garrovick.

  112.  2255  Hikaru Sulu enters Starfleet Acadamy.

  114.  2256  USS Enterprise - Captain Pike completes second five year mission
  115.         and begins a one year re-fit.
  116.         Leonard McCoy's relationship with Nancy Crater ends.

  118.  2257  Lt Kirk serving aboard he USS Farragut encounters a deadly
  119.         "Vampire Cloud" near the planet Tycho IV. Kirk hesitates for a
  120.         second before firing ship's phasers. The cloud causes 200 deaths
  121.         including Captain Garrovick.
  122.        USS Enterprise embarks on third five year mission, Captain
  123.         Christopher Pike commanding.
  124.        Uhura joins Starfleet Academy.

  126.  2259  Hikaru Sula graduates from Starfleet Academy.
  127.  
  128.  2261  USS Enterprise completes third five year mission. Enters
  129.         spacedock for major re-fit. Crew increased from 203 to 430.
  130.         Captain Christopher Pike commanding.
  131.        Exploratory ship SS Beagle crashes on planet 892-IV. Crew survive
  132.         but become prisoners of the inhabitants. Forced to fight as
  133.         Roman gladiators. The ship's Captain, Merrick, survives by
  134.         joining the inhabitants.
  135.        David Marcus born to Carol Marcus and James T Kirk. Robert and
  136.         Nancy Crater arrive on planet M-113, to survey ancient ruins.
  137.        Last message from Dr Roger Korby's expedition on Exo III. Despite
  138.         two rescue attempts, no trace of them is found.
  139.        James Kirk dates Janet Wallace. Due to career goals they amicably
  140.         split up.
  141.        Uhura graduates from Starfleet Academy.

  143.  2263  Spock visits his parents on Vulcan. Sarek is still upset with his
